Hana Maria Aboian and Daniil Veselukhin will attempt to sew up a berth at the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final when they take the ice this weekend at Junior Grand Prix Poland in Gdansk.
The Connecticut-based ice dance team has reeled off nine consecutive wins that date back to the 2025 ISU World Junior Championships, including the 2025 Junior Grand Prix Final and the 2026 World Junior Championships.
They'll be part of a 13-skater delegation from U.S. Figure Skating that will compete in the last of seven Junior Grand Prix events this season. The competition gets underway on Thursday and runs through Saturday at the Olivia Ice Arena.
Aboian and Veselukhin kicked off the current Junior Grand Prix season with a victory at JGP Turkey.
Joining them in the ice dance field are teammates
Anaelle Kouevi and Yann Homawoo. The duo trains in Alexandria, Virginia, and finished eighth earlier this fall at JGP Thailand.
Three pairs teams will represent the U.S., led by Minnesota-based
Reagan Moss and Jakub Galbavy. The two-time and reigning U.S. junior champions are also in contention for a JGP Final berth, having secured a silver medal at JGP Latvia.
Making their JGP debuts will be
Olivia Jung and Carter Griffin, and
Teryn Kim and Laz Lune. Both pairs teams partnered in 2026 and train in Irvine, California.
This will be the third career competition for Jung and Griffin, who finished first at both 2026 Skate Detroit and the 100th Annual Middle Atlantic Figure Skating Championships.
Kim and Lune took seventh at the 100th Annual Middle Atlantic Figure Skating Championships and earned their first podium finish at 2026 Glacier Falls Summer Classic, taking first overall.
Emilia Nemirovsky of Michigan will compete for the second time this JGP campaign, having finished fifth at JGP Slovenia last weekend.
Caleb Farrington leads the U.S. men into JGP Poland. The Delaware-based skater finished seventh at JGP Latvia. He's looking for his second JGP medal, having earned silver at 2025 JGP Azerbaijan.
Like Farrington,
Henry Gao arrives for his second JGP event of the season. He placed seventh at JGP Georgia.
All Junior Grand Prix competitions are streamed live on the ISU YouTube channel.
