Aneta Vaclavikova and William Lissauer earned the United States their highest finish of the competition with a bronze medal in the ice dance event at the sixth of seven ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating events in Ljubljana, Slovenia, this past weekend.

The Connecticut-based team headed into the event coming off a strong showing in Latvia, where they earned a silver medal. A new team as of March 2025, this marks their second career JGP podium finish.

Their rhythm dance, performed to "Young and Beautiful" by Lana Del Ray and "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody" from the Great Gatsby (2013) soundtrack, placed third. Their sequential twizzles and rotational lift earned Level 4 marks, contributing to an international personal best score of 64.73.

The team headed into the final day of competition in third place. Vaclavikova and Lissauer's free dance, set to "Moonlight Sonata" by Ludwig van Beethoven, also finished third with 94.32 points. Emilia Nemirovsky, the sole entrant for U.S. Figure Skating in the women's event, placed fifth overall at her first Junior Grand Prix of the season. Her short program, themed to the 2020 movie Birds of Prey opened with a double Axel that netted the highest grade of execution of her program and ended with two Level 4 spins. With a total segment score of 57.83, she headed into the free skate in fourth place.
