Olympic champion Brian Boitano spent last weekend promoting the 2027 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships and Boitano's Lounge at the Park City Wine Festival in Park City, Utah.
The iconic skater, who has served as a U.S. Figure Skating ambassador for many years and hosts Boitano's Lounge at the U.S. Championships, was on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and partake in some of the festival's most exclusive wines with festivalgoers.
"It was great meeting all the fans and getting them excited about the Championships," Boitano said. "I think we met a lot of people who are interested in coming to see skating for the first time and coming to Boitano's Lounge to visit."

Boitano commenced the special weekend on Friday as a special guest at the Best of Fest event, where some of the festival's most exclusive wines were presented to a select audience.
On Saturday, Boitano promoted the U.S. Championships and Boitano's Lounge at the Grand Tasting, signing autographs and taking photos with excited attendees before heading to the festival's final event, The Night Cap at Alpine Distilling.
"The U.S. Figure Skating Championships has always held a special place in my career," he said. "I've been going to it since I was 13. I still get excited to meet people and fans at the Championships and to cheer on the new skaters."
In the last two decades, Boitano has transitioned his passion for food into a successful culinary career. "What Would Boitano Make?" premiered on the Food Network in August 2009, drawing inspiration from the famous
South Park movie song. His best-selling cookbook titled
What Would Brian Boitano Make?: Fresh and Fun Recipes for Sharing with Family and Friends, debuted in 2013.
The original Boitano's Lounge opened inside the Kindler Hotel in 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has won numerous awards.
Boitano hopes to see many of the people he met in Park City at Boitano's Lounge during the U.S. Championships.
"Boitano's Lounge is multifaceted," he said. "It's elevated food and elevated drinks. You are talking about the event with people who love talking about skating. It gives you a little respite from watching and being in the building; you feel like you are in another world, and you are, you are in Boitano's Lounge. A lot of the times it's where a lot of top skaters, alumni and current skaters hang out when they are not in their seats or at the hotel. So you are able to see who's who in figure skating here and be able to talk to them. There are also several panel discussions as well to enjoy."
