Madison Chock and Evan Bates returned to ISU competition in winning fashion - and now, they're Team USA Awards finalists for their performance in February.

Ten months following Chock's ankle surgery after the Olympic season, the duo won their first competition back, Mentor Torun Cup in Poland, to kick off a busy five weeks of three competitions from January through February. The now Montreal-based team followed up the win with another podium finish at the 2019 GEICO U.S. Figure Skating Championships, winning silver in Detroit.

From there, Chock and Bates headed to Anaheim, California, for the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, where they topped the field with 207.42 total points. That score and their free dance segment score of 126.25 are the highest international scores by an American team this season.

"If you had told us that we would win Four Continents when we pulled out of the Grand Prix four months ago, I think we would be very surprised," Bates said in Anaheim. "We're so proud of our performances. We keep building."

They made the Team USA Awards Team of the Month ballot for their first Four Continents win, which marked their fifth medal at the event overall.

Vote for Chock and Bates here through midnight, Tuesday, March 5, to help them be named Team USA's Best of February!
