Haydenettes, Skyliners Ready to Shine in Salzburg

Haydenettes have sights set on third consecutive podium finish

The Haydenettes and Skyliners are set to represent the United States at the ISU Synchronized Skating World Championships 2026, which will take place April 10-11 in Salzburg, Austria.

This marks the third straight year that these two teams will compete for the United States at the Synchronized Skating World Championships.

Fresh off their 33rd total and 16th straight U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships win, the Haydenettes will look to clinch their third straight podium finish at the World Championships after clinching silver in 2024 and bronze in 2025.

The Haydenettes, who have skated at every Worlds that has been held since the event's inception in 2000, have medaled at every event they competed at this season, including clinching a silver and bronze at their two Challenger Series assignments.

"We say gold is our goal, but our team has always been about how results and scores don't matter," said Caroline Stohrer, who is in her second season with the Haydenettes. "It's just how we feel going on the ice. Saga [Krantz] always says, 'Love in your heart. Wings on your feet,' before we go out on the ice, which is about putting something out there that we're proud of, and, with luck, the results and the scores will come with it."

The Skyliners travel to Salzburg with two medals under their belt so far this season. The team that trains in Fairfield, Connecticut, secured bronze at 2026 Riga Cup before taking home silver at the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Utah last month.

"Throughout this whole season and definitely this weekend, we feel like we've really earned it and we're really excited for the opportunity," said Eli Lichstein, who is skating with the Skyliners for the fourth season.

Competition kicks off Friday at 11 a.m. ET with the short program and concludes Sunday with the free skate, which starts at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Fans can watch all the action live on Peacock, and all events will be available for 72 hours following their conclusion.
