Teams Elite and the Northernettes travel to Turku, Finland, this weekend for 2026 Marie Lundmark Trophy, the fourth and final 2026 ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating event of the season.

Competition is set to take place Feb. 7-8 at the Gatorade Center.

Skating in the senior event, Teams Elite arrives with two international competitions under their belt this season, earning a fifth-place finish at 2025 Santa Claus Cup and a sixth-place finish at the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic this past weekend in Norwood, Massachusetts.

The Northernettes, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, will compete for a second podium finish this international season, having earned the silver medal at 2026 Hevelius Cup in Gdansk, Poland, earlier this year.

This event marks the junior team's third Challenger Series event all-time (2025 Mozart Cup, 2024 Marie Lundmark).

The Challenger Series, which began in 2019-20, consists of up to five international competitions linked together to give adequate opportunities for synchronized skating teams to compete at the international level, earn World Standing Points and prepare for competing at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.

Competition begins Saturday with the junior and senior short programs. Medals will be awarded Sunday following the junior and senior free skates.
