For the third time in the last four years,
Teams Elite junior and
Skyliners junior have been selected as the two teams that will represent the United States at the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships, set for March 13-14 in Gdansk, Poland.
In two of those appearances, in 2022 and 2025, both teams stood on the podium together. Last season,
Teams Elite junior won gold, marking the first gold medal by a U.S. synchronized skating team at a World Championships at any level, while
Skyliners junior clinched bronze, the team's sixth Junior Worlds podium finish.
Teams Elite junior is undefeated since the beginning of 2025, winning both their Challenger Series events this season to become the Challenger Series junior champions for the third straight year.
Skyliners junior, which has medaled at every World Junior Championships they've attended since 2018 (they missed 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the event was canceled in 2021), have stood on the podium at every international competition they've competed at this season, including silver behind
Teams Elite junior at the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic.
