Skating on home soil in Norwood, Massachusetts, the United States won four medals at the 2026 U.S. Synchronized Skating International Classic - the penultimate ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating event of the season.

In the senior event, the Haydenettes claimed silver, their eighth total Challenger Series medal and second of the 2025-26 season.

Additionally, three U.S. teams swept the junior podium in Norwood. Teams Elite junior led the way with gold, their 10th Challenger Series medal. Skyliners junior secured silver, while the Lexettes earned bronze — their eighth and fourth Challenger Series medals, respectively.

The Haydenettes didn't have to travel far for this competition, skating at their home club, The Skating Club of Boston.

The 32-time U.S. champions captured silver with a total score of 217.67, adding another Challenger Series medal to their already impressive trophy shelf.

Skating to "Crazy Train" by Joseph William Morgan, the reigning World bronze medalists delivered a clean performance in the short program, scoring 79.21 points. All five elements garnered Level 4 marks and positive grades of execution. The star of the program was their Level 4 intersection with a Level 4 point of intersection, which at 10.20 points, was their highest-scoring element.

Entering the free skate in first place, the Haydenettes scored Level 4s on six straight elements during their program set to "Somewhere Only We Know" by Sons of Serendip, starting with a group lift that collected 10.72 points. They also earned Level 4s on their no hold element, intersection, pair element, twizzle element and move element.

Though they dropped to third in the free skate with a score of 138.46, they held on to their position in the top three to take the second spot on the podium.

Also competing for the stars and stripes in the senior event, the Skyliners finished in fifth with 197.86 total points and Teams Elite earned a sixth-place finish and 195.76 points overall.

Returning to the senior division for the first time since the 2022-23 season, Teams Elite skated to sixth place with season's best scores in the free skate and overall. The team that trains out of Northbrook, Illinois, bookended their short program to "O mio babbino caro" by Vincent Ott with a Level 4 synchronized spin and Level 4 traveling element, both of which contributed a combined 15.42 points to a 71.91-point showing in the short program.

In the junior division, Teams Elite junior captured gold, their 10th total Challenger Series medal and sixth straight gold. With this win, they extend an undefeated streak that began in January 2025.

The two-time and reigning U.S. champions came out of the gate strong in the short program, earning Level 4 distinctions on every element. Three of the five elements in their program set to the powerful ballad "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston earned over nine points, including their Level 4 intersection with a Level 4 point of intersection that collected 9.75 points.
