A field of more than 180 athletes will take the ice to vie for U.S. titles at the 2026 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships, slated to take place Jan. 4-11 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Held in St. Louis for the first time since 2006, the U.S. Championships will crown winners in the women's, men's, pairs and ice dance disciplines at the championship and junior levels, as well as in novice pairs and ice dance.
The championship events will take place Jan. 7-10 in downtown St. Louis at Enterprise Center while junior and novice events will take place Jan. 5-6 at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
This year's competition is headlined by the four reigning U.S. champions at the championship level, all of which will return to defend their titles.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates will compete for a record-breaking seventh U.S. ice dance title. On an undefeated streak that began at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final 2023, two-time World champion
Ilia Malinin is chasing a fourth consecutive U.S. Championships title. Two-time and reigning champion
Amber Glenn looks to clinch her third straight gold in the women's event while
Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov will look to each back-to-back titles in pairs.

The 2026 U.S. Championships will serve as the final qualifying event prior to the selection of the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team that will represent Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The team will be announced live in Enterprise Center during Making Team USA presented by Xfinity from 1-3 CT.
Teams for the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2026, ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2026 and ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2026 will also be announced following the U.S. Championships.
All junior and championship-level events will be streamed live on
Peacock. Events can be accessed on Peacock for 72 hours following their conclusion. Novice events will be livestreamed on the

Championship events will be televised with live coverage on USA and NBC throughout the week, including primetime coverage of the final groups of the pairs free skate, and the women's free skate on Friday, Jan. 9, and the final group of the free dance and men's free skate on Saturday, Jan. 10. At the conclusion of the Championships, nearly 150 emerging athletes at the juvenile, intermediate and novice levels will participate in the 2026 National Development Camp, set for Jan. 12-14 in St. Louis. This invite-only camp features on- and off-ice training sessions led by an experienced staff of coaches and industry experts. Athletes will also have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a competitive environment through a consistency competition judged by the country's top officials. Participants are also invited to come watch and be inspired by the championship-level competition beginning Friday.
