The National Football League 107th season kicks off on Wednesday night with a rematch of last season's Super Bowl  between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
As with the rest of the country, many U.S. figure skaters are excited to wear their favorite team jerseys and cheer their squads on to victory.

Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik attended a preseason game at Gillette Stadium, where the New England Patriots hosted the Philadelphia Eagles. They learned a routine from the Patriot cheerleaders and toured the stadium.
At Champs Camp in late August in Boston, athletes were asked which NFL team is their favorite. Here are their answers:
Lachlan Lewer: Washington Commanders. Watching the Commanders is a gift that many people pass up. It's just poetry in motion. Seeing them play every week is a must, especially when my GOAT JD5 (Jayden Daniels) is at the helm. The Commanders are going to be a team to look out for this season. A lot of people look past them but with the offseason signings of players such as Nick Cross, Amik Robertson, Leo Channel and Stefon Diggs, they will be a powerhouse team and will make a great run for the playoffs, with a chance for a Super Bowl apperance.

Michael Parsons: Washington Commanders. I grew up going to games as a little kid. There's a picture of me with my Commanders helmet and jersey that I got from my dad. I grew up hearing about the "Hogs" being the dominant offensive line in the NFL. I grew up watching Clinton Portis and tight end Chris Cooley. We've been through so many quarterbacks, but we have a good team right now.
Mark Sadusky: Las Vegas Raiders. Mark made sure his pairs partner, Olivia Flores, knew all about the Raiders-Broncos rivalry: "You guys suck! You couldn't even get past the championship game last season … in the snow. All you had to do was kick a field goal!"
