Lexettes, Fond du Lac Blades Set to Compete at Third Challenger Series Event

Two junior teams will represent Team USA at the third Challenger Series event of the season, 2024 Trophy D'Ecosse, Jan. 26-27 in Dumfries, Great Britain.

The Lexettes are competing for the second straight weekend while the Fond du Lac Blades make their first international appearance of the season.

A member of the 2023 World Junior Championships team, the Lexettes finished fifth at last weekend's Challenger Series event in Hungary.

Last season, Fond du Lac Blades earned a medal at their lone international event, earning silver at 2023 French Cup.

Trophy D'Ecosse, which is only hosting junior competition, begins Friday with the short program and concludes Saturday with the free skate.

The Challenger Series, which began in 2019-20, consists of up to five international competitions linked together to give adequate opportunities for synchronized skating teams to compete at the international level, earn World Standing Points and prepare for competing at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.
