The United States picked up four medals this weekend at the Asian Open, the eighth of 10 stops on the ISU Challenger Series circuit.

In ice dance,
Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko led the American contingent, brining home gold with a total score of 191.55. It's the Novi-based team's third international medal of the season.

Ksenia Konkina and Pavel Drozd (176.38) of Russia claimed silver, and Georgia's Maria Kazakova and George Reviya (174.63) rounded out the ice dance podium.

In the men's competition,
Andrew Torgashev and
Ryan Dunk took home silver and bronze, respectively.

Torgashev, who finished fourth at his two Junior Grand Prix assignments this season, earned 72.91 points in the short program and 144.63 in the free skate for a total score of 217.54.

Reigning U.S. junior champion Dunk, who finished fifth and sixth in JGP events this season, earned a total score of 199.03.

In the ladies field, American
Gabriella Izzo secured bronze with 169.75 points, behind 65.30-point short program and a 104.45-point free skate.

Eunsoo Lim and Hanul Kim of Korea took the top two podium steps.

The Challenger Series will be back in action Nov. 14, when the series stops in Poland for the Warsaw Cup 2019.
