SKATING NOTES
Began partnership in July 2026.

Starr started skating at age 3 because her mom would take her to the rink when she would skate and she wanted to try it after seeing how much fun her mom was having ... Became the first U.S. Black figure skater to win a Grand Prix medal in 2022 at Skate Canada International ... Previously skated singles through 2025-26 season. 

Parkman started skating in Seattle when he was 2.

Starr's parents are Toshawa and Kent ... Has two older sisters Taylor and Skylar and a younger brother Ashton ... Has a cat named Stitch and a Labradoodle named Mochi ... Loves animals and has had three lizards, three rats, three cats, two dogs, a bunny, a hamster, and a guinea pig as lifetime pets ... Was the Inaugural recipient of the Mabel Fairbanks Skatingly Yours Fund ... Enjoys singing, painting, reading, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and going to new places and trying new restaurants ... Aspires one day to record her own music and try acting ... Supports American Heart Association and the BIPOC figure skating community, and is an advocate for social reform.

Parkman is passionate about cars and choreographing for athletes at the rink ... Favorite foods are pasta and seafood ... Studied business analytics.
