SKATING NOTES
Lukanin started skating at 3 years old. Met her partner, Patrick, through his oldest sister, who took skating lessons from her parents. Decided to pursue skating at 6 years old ... Loves skating because it is unique and allows her to connect with friends.
O'Brien followed his three sisters into skating before he turned 2 years old ... Loves the feeling of working towards new goals in practice then being able to execute them in competition.

Lukanin's parents, Igor and Kristen, are both figure skating coaches ... Has a beagle named Louisiana ... Attends middle school in New Jersey ... Volunteers with the Learn to Skate USA program at Montclair State University Ice Arena ... Hobbies include baking, drawing, cooking and dance.
