Boston University emerged victorious once again, securing its ninth team title at the 2026 National Intercollegiate Final this past weekend at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex in Salt Lake City, Utah.
With its latest win, Boston University extends its lead for the most National Intercollegiate Final titles won by a single school. The Terriers have won seven of the last eight NIF titles.
"It definitely wasn't an easy competition," Boston University's Sara Campos said. "Everyone from all the schools were amazing, and we had to fight for every start, but I'm proud of the work everyone put in this weekend. Whether they were back home supporting us, here with us or skating, we couldn't have done it without every member of this team, and I'm so grateful for our amazing coaches and support staff."
Boston University won five events en route to a total score of 262.00. Kendall Hackler captured wins in the intermediate women's short program and intermediate women's free skate, worth 12 points each. Taylor Klinger helped the team's cause with a win in the preliminary plus women's free skate.
Also contributing to the Terriers' score were second-place finishes by Cecelia Donohue in the junior women's short program and free skate, Xuanyi Yin in the preliminary women's free skate Group B and Chiara Tan in the juvenile women's free skate Group A.
The Terriers also finished first in the high team maneuvers and intermediate team maneuvers events.
The University of Delaware finished in second place with 231.0 points and 10 individual wins. Bryan Lehmenn led the charge for the Blue Hens, clinching gold in the senior men's short program, pre-silver solo pattern dance and silver solo pattern dance events.
Elizabeth Olson and Madelyn Jordan captured two wins each. Olson won the novice women's short program and intermediate solo free dance, while Jordan secured gold in the international solo pattern dance and junior women's free skate.
Additionally, Olivia Massey claimed the top spot of the podium in the pre-bronze solo pattern dance, Amy Rodak took gold in the juvenile women's free skate group A and Erin Bridges topped the field in the novice women's free skate.
New York University tallied 220.5 points to earn third place, tying their highest-ever finish at the National Intercollegiate Final.
U.S. National Team member Michael Xie represented the University of California, Berkeley, , claiming wins in the senior solo free dance and senior men's championship free skate. Â Â
