U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body of figure skating in the United States, today announced that Bombas, a revolutionary apparel company focused on providing comfortable clothing items while giving back to those at risk of or experiencing housing insecurity, will join the organization as an official supplier.
Bombas is a comfort-focused sock and apparel brand with a mission to help those experiencing homelessness. With every item purchased, one item is donated to their network of over 4,000 giving partners around the U.S. and Canada.
"At Bombas, we design products engineered for comfort and built for movement, and we look forward to supporting U.S. Figure Skating throughout the season," a Bombas spokesperson said. "These athletes know firsthand how essential real comfort and foot support is, on and off the ice, and we're honored to partner with a community that embodies such strength, artistry and resilience."
As part of the partnership, Bombas will be offering exclusive discounts to all U.S. Figure Skating members, including discounts for the holiday season, as well as gifts for the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team as they compete for gold in Milan.
"Partnering with Bombas is a natural fit for U.S. Figure Skating," U.S. Figure Skating Chief Commercial Officer Annie White said. "Their emphasis on comfort, quality and giving back reflects the values of our athletes and our broader community. We're excited to bring their products into the skating world."
