We're excited to introduce a new look for U.S. Figure Skating events. 

Every competition has its own personality, traditions and community. But they are all connected by something bigger: the athletes, members, coaches, officials, volunteers, families and fans who make up U.S. Figure Skating. Our new event logos are designed to make that connection easier to see. 

By creating a more consistent look across our events and programs with consistent colors, typography and design elements, we hope people recognize that each one is part of the U.S. Figure Skating family in a way that feels connected, polished and unmistakably ours. 

Each logo is inspired by the individual disciplines and the elements that make each unique.  

The Inspiration

U.S. Figure Skating and Synchronized Skating Championships
The new U.S. Figure Skating Championships and U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships logos draw inspiration from their respective championship trophies, which carry the names of past champions and represent generations of achievement in the sport. The U.S. Championships trophy mirrors the sterling silver Tiffany & Co. award, while the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships logo matches the crystal Porter Cup, named in honor of the founder of synchronized skating. These logos also celebrate each host city through a unique local element that changes every year, allowing the location to become part of the event's story while maintaining the larger U.S. Figure Skating identity. 

Skate America
As the premier international figure skating competition held in the United States, Skate America's logos incorporates star and ribbon-inspired elements that reflect its American identity and place on the world stage.

Logos for events in U.S. Figure Skating's qualifying pipeline also express what makes them special. Inspired by the movement, artistry and athleticism of figure skating, the logos showcase sweeping curves and intersecting lines evoking the edges and tracings skaters leave on the ice, while abstract skater forms capture the rotation, extension and movement found throughout the sport. Synchronized skating uses mirrored forms and movement to reflect the unison, precision and teamwork at the heart of the discipline.

Unique logos for finals in disciplines such as Theatre On Ice, Showcase, solo dance, Excel and collegiate skating are designed to be used year after year, with a distinctive element inspired by the program it represents.  

This is about more than a new design. It's about strengthening a brand that represents every part of our sport and making sure the tradition and excitement of U.S. Figure Skating comes through wherever our sport is seen, from competition venues and merchandise to social media and digital platforms. 

Together, these efforts create a stronger, more recognizable brand. A brand that honors our history, elevates our events and programs, and best positions U.S. Figure Skating to engage new audiences and inspire future generations of the sport we all love.
