The accreditation hours at the venue will be open daily during the following hours:

Please note, after media pick up their credential, they should go to the team entry off Cummings Road.
ON-SITE ACCOMMODATIONS
Parking
Parking in Lake Placid in extremely limited. Please allow time getting to the venue. Most hotels are within walking distance to the Lake Placid Olympic Center.
Entry
Media will enter the Lake Placid Olympic Center through the team entry off Cummings Road. Once inside, go to the left and up to the stairs to the concourse.
Media Workroom
The media workroom will be set up behind section 16 on the concourse.
The media workroom will open according to the following time schedule:
- Thursday March 30: 9 a.m. – 7:40 p.m.
- Friday March 31: 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 p.m.
- Saturday April 1: 7:45 a.m. – 9:45 p.m.

Press Tribune
The press tribune will be located in section 16.
Tabled media seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Media members may only use one seat/space per person.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES
Mixed Zone
All interaction with athletes and coaches at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2023 will take place in the mixed zone.
The mixed zone can be found on the event level inside the lobby at the team entrance.
Interview Protocol:
- Athletes and coaches will be brought through the mixed zone by request only. Media can submit their requested athletes in person or via email to Kristen Henneman (khenneman@usfigureskating.org). Athletes must be requested before the end of their performance.
- Requested athletes will “come through” the mixed zone after receiving scores. A member of the U.S. Figure Skating communications staff will moderate on-site.
- Athletes should be requested before the end of their performance.
- Please comply with the U.S. Figure Skating Professional Journalism policy.
Press Conferences
Press conferences will be held following the conclusion of the short program and free skate at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2023 in the practice rink.
The press conference schedule will be as follows (subject to change):
All competition press conferences will be archived and available for on-demand viewing. Mixed zone interactions will NOT be recorded.
Practice Interviews
Those wishing to interview skaters in the mixed zone after a practice session should email Kristen Henneman (khenneman@usfigureskating.org) at least two hours before the practice session. Athletes will be brought in by request only. We cannot guarantee that athletes will attend practice sessions on any given day. U.S. Figure Skating communications staff will facilitate interviews after practice in the mixed zone. Practice session interviews will NOT be recorded. No interviews will be facilitated following warm-up sessions.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Photographer Positions
Photographer positions will be first-come, first-served.
On-ice positions will be located to the left of the officials stand (1-12). Photographers must be escorted to and from on-ice positions. During practice, please see the volunteer at the press tribune (section 16 tables) if you would like to be escorted down to the on-ice positions. There is also a volunteer at the on-ice positions to escort you back. Before competition, please meet in the media work area a half hour before the start of the event on Friday (5:30 p.m.) and Saturday (3 p.m.) to be escorted to the on-ice positions.
Mid-level positions will be located in black seating in the upper level of section 20. To access these positions, use the stairs on the concourse behind section 20.
High-level positions will be available above the upper deck above the officials stand. To access these positions, use the door behind the press tribune labeled Upper Level Media Seating.
For awards, photographers may go onto the judges stand.
Event Photos
U.S. Figure Skating will have photos available for media to use after all official practices and competition events. Please send photo requests to Kristen Henneman (khenneman@usfigureskating.org). All photos must be credited to “KrPhotogs Photography/U.S. Figure Skating” and must adhere to media usage guidelines (editorial use only, credit must be given).
