Media tribune seating is available above the kiss and cry in sections 119 and 121, as well as in the Bud Light press box on floors 3 and 4 above section 126.

For the seating in sections 119 and 121: After entering through Entrance B, take the elevator up to Level 2 on the main concourse.

For the 3rd floor press box: Take the elevator to Level 3. Take a left and the press box (labeled writing press) is the first door on the left. Please note: the secondary room in this press box is the media office and is reserved for the U.S. Figure Skating media team.

For the 4th floor press box: Take the elevator to Level 4. Take a left and the press box (labeled writing press) is the door to the left.

Photographer Positions

All photographers will need to wear a pinny to access the photographer positions. Please pick one up from the media work area at the beginning of the day and return it each day.

For on-ice positions during the junior competition, there will be a spot for the U.S. Figure Skating photographer and spots 1-15 will be first-come, first-served. After entering through Entrance B, go through the doors straight ahead. Take a right and then a left to get to the ice. For the most-up-to date info and positions, check the board in the media work room. Mid-level positions will be decided on Tuesday and will be noted on the board in the media area once we have more information.

For the senior competition, there will be a few assigned spots for wires and the remainder will be first come, first-served unless a draw becomes necessary. More information will be posted in the media workroom with what positions are available.

INTERVIEWS

Mixed Zone Interviews

Athletes will be brought through the mixed zone by request only. Requested athletes will “come through” the mixed zone after receiving scores. A member of the U.S. Figure Skating communications staff will moderate on-site. The moderator will hold the athlete(s) for a minute in the mixed zone. If there are no questions for a certain athlete, the athlete(s) will be permitted to leave. Please be ready to ask a question after the athlete has received scores.

Media can submit their requested athletes in person or via email to the U.S. Figure Skating communications team (please email both Kristen and Abby).

Please comply with the U.S. Figure Skating Professional Journalism policy.

Press Conferences

See the above schedule for press conferences.

All competition press conferences will be archived and available for on-demand viewing. Links will be posted under the press conference schedule following the event.

We cannot guarantee that athletes will attend practice sessions on any given day. U.S. Figure Skating communications staff will facilitate interviews after practice in the mixed zone. Practice session interviews will NOT be recorded. No interviews will be facilitated following warm-up sessions.

Media will not have access to the practice rink.
