United States Figure Skating Championships®
The United States Figure Skating Championships®, held annually since 1914, is the nation’s most prestigious figure skating event. The competition crowns U.S. champions in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at both the senior and junior levels. The 2021 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships will serve as the final step in selecting the U.S. athletes who will compete at the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2021. Every four years, the United States Figure Skating Championships® is the final qualifying event prior to nominating the U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team.

Athletes qualifying for the United States Figure Skating Championships® by receiving a bye per the U.S. Figure Skating rulebook, or by advancing through the U.S. Qualifying Season’s Challenges and Finals.
Testing Requirements for the United States Figure Skating Championships®
There are no age restrictions to compete on the senior, junior or novice levels in the United States. Athletes must have passed these U.S. Figure Skating testing requirements prior to Sept. 1, 2020, to compete at their corresponding levels. On Aug. 6, U.S. Figure Skating approved Technical Notification 250 that allows athletes to register at their current test level or up to two levels higher. Rule 2424 will still apply.
