U.S. Figure Skating is pleased to announce US Performance Academy as the Official Online Middle School and High School of U.S. Figure Skating.
The leading online school for elite athletes, US Performance Academy offers middle and high school (grades 6-12) options that give student athletes who are training, traveling and competing a flexible school schedule and academic calendar.
“We are excited to partner with US Performance Academy, which allows student athletes to thrive both in sport and the classroom,” said Annie White, U.S. Figure Skating’s senior director of marketing and sales. “This gives skaters the opportunity to receive a high-quality education while achieving their athletic dreams.”
As part of the partnership, U.S. Figure Skating members will receive a 10% discount on US Performance Academy middle school, high school and postgraduate tuition.
“At USPA, our team of learning coaches and teachers understand the schedules of high-performing student-athletes,” said Pete Smith, founder and president of USPA. “We are excited to introduce our model to U.S. Figure Skating families. USPA is a great fit for elite skaters who are traveling the world. We give student athletes the edge by allowing them to train and go to school on their own schedule.”
US Performance Academy will also offer U.S. Figure Skating members access to the collegiate dual enrollment program and college counseling for all enrolled students.
