U.S. Figure Skating Appoints Eric Fehr as Chief Financial Officer

U.S. Figure Skating today announced it has appointed Eric Fehr as the organization's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 30, 2023. Fehr brings over 25 years of financial operations experience and has a proven track record of driving growth and producing transformative results in the sports industry.

"The leadership team and I are thrilled to welcome Eric to our team," U.S. Figure Skating Chief Executive Officer Tracy Marek said. "With over nine years in the non-profit and grassroots space, he has demonstrated tremendous talent and essential leadership skills with experience in creating effective strategic financial planning and generating revenue growth opportunities. We're excited to have Eric on board to help us build measurable business results and establish operational efficiency."

Fehr will oversee U.S. Figure Skating's fiscal operations by managing all accounting and budgeting functions. In addition, Fehr will establish the organization's financial policies and procedures to streamline business operations and support partner relationships.

Most recently, Fehr served as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer for the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, directing the nearly 13,000-member club to a $4 million surplus in his four-year tenure. Prior to his role with the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, Fehr held financial leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer at Highland Ranch Aquatic Club and Director of Business Operations at Circuit of the Americas LLC. 

Fehr will join the U.S. Figure Skating team in Colorado Springs, Colorado starting May 30.
