Four U.S. synchronized skating teams will make their international debuts this season at the Neuchatel Trophy in Neuchatel, Switzerland, from Feb. 11-12.

Adrian College will represent Team USA in the senior competition and three junior teams – DC EDGE, the Northernettes and Starlights – will take the ice for the United States.

Returning to international ice after the 2020-21 season was canceled, Adrian College will skate at the Neuchatel Trophy for the first time. At the Michigan team's last international competition, the squad earned silver at the 2020 Zagreb Snowflakes Trophy.

The Starlights, which claimed bronze at the 2020 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, headline the junior teams traveling to Switzerland. Last competing internationally in 2020, the Starlights took silver at the 2020 Britannia Cup.

This will mark just the second time DC EDGE has competed internationally. The junior team founded in 2018 took bronze behind the Starlights at the 2020 Britannia Cup.

Rounding out the U.S. junior teams, the Northernettes will be skating on the international stage for the first time in the team's history. The team from FSC of Bloomington finished in the top 10 of the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in 2018 and 2020.
