In collaboration with the U.S. Figure Skating Sports Science and Medicine Committee’s chair and with approval of the Board of Directors, the Competitions Committee announced today that the 2021 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships will be held as an in-person competition June 23-26 in Rochester, Michigan.
Since the Jan. 11 communication of this plan, U.S. Figure Skating has diligently monitored COVID-19 cases and positivity rates in Oakland (Michigan) County and Michigan’s requirements for indoor events to ensure the health and wellbeing of those attending the U.S. Adult Championships.
The event will enforce COVID-19 safety protocols that adhere to CDC guidelines and local and state requirements.
Registration will open Wednesday, May 12, at 4 p.m. ET via EMS. Additional details, including the competition announcement and the COVID-19 protocols, will be posted May 12 on the official competition website
