The Lexettes and Fond du Lac Blades continue their international seasons this weekend in the junior division at 2025 French Cup in Rouen, France.
The 30th annual competition, which runs Friday and Saturday, is the third of four events in the Challenger Series Synchronized Skating.
The Lexettes from Norwood, Massachusetts, will compete for the second time internationally this season. They earned the gold medal at Britannia Cup in Great Britain earlier this month.
The Lexettes have collected three Challenger Series medals overall and are the reigning U.S. junior pewter medalists.
The Fond du Lac Blades will also compete for the second time internationally this season, having captured the silver medal at Britannia Cup.
This marks just their third Challenger Series event with the team from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, going for their first medal in the series.
A total of 20 teams will compose the junior competition in Rouen. Competition begins Friday with the short program and continues Saturday with the free skate. Team USA did not enter a team in the senior event.
The Challenger Series, which began in 2019-20, consists of up to five international competitions linked together to give adequate opportunities for synchronized skating teams to compete at the international level, earn World Standing Points and prepare for competing at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.
