Every January, U.S. Figure Skating and Learn to Skate USA join forces to host a nationwide annual campaign designed to welcome new skaters to the ice for the first time. Participate in a National Skating Month Event
With hundreds of organized National Skating Month events taking place across the country, it’s a great time to get to know your local skating community and spend a fun-filled day at the rink. Skate out of your comfort zone
Take a moment to step out of your traditional skating routine and celebrate the joy that skating brings to your life. If you’re a regular at the ice rink, take your skates to a seasonal rink or a unique outdoor skating location. If you’re used to skating on your own, grab a friend or family member and spend time reconnecting as you take laps around the rink. Stay present and enjoy the feeling of ice beneath your feet.
