Nearly 300 skaters will compete for titles at the 2024 Solo Dance Final, Sept. 12-15. The event will take place in West Chapel, Florida, with Sunshine State FSC serving as host for the first time.
The 13th annual occurrence of the Final will mark the first time the event will be held in Florida.
Competitors will have the option to compete in solo pattern dance, shadow dance and combined dance events at the preliminary through senior and international levels.
Qualification for the National Solo Dance Final is based on results from the 2024 Solo Dance Series, which runs March through August. The top six skaters in solo pattern dance and combined events at each level as well as the top three shadow pattern dance teams at each level receive an invitation to compete at the National Solo Dance Final.
Three reigning champions will return to the Final this year with their sights set on defending their title.
Brooke Tufts enters the competition as the reigning champion in the senior combined event while Amal Israilova will also look to earn a spot on the podium for the second year in a row in the international solo pattern dance event.
Additionally, duo Khloe Felton and Jordan Brenne will compete for their second consecutive gold in gold-international shadow dance.
