Events and Eligibility
This competition will be conducted in two portions: the 2024 U.S. Collegiate Championships, a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition, and the 2024 U.S. Collegiate Invitational, a nonqualifying competition. Participation requirements - including academic eligibility and events offered - are outlined below and listed in the competition announcement.
U.S. Collegiate Championships
Competitors must meet requirements for participation in nonqualifying competitions and academic eligibility as outlined in the event announcement.
Events Offered:
- Junior women and men combined (IJS)
- Senior women and men combined (IJS)
Competitors participating in the Championship portion of the competition are eligible for the following scholarships based on placement*:

- Senior women and men’s champions: $4,000
- Senior women and men’s silver medalist: $2,000
- Senior women and men’s bronze medalist: $1,000
- Junior women and men’s champions: $1,000
- Junior women and men’s silver medalist: $500
*Athletes must meet minimum requirements outlined in the competition announcement in order to collect scholarship funds.
U.S. Collegiate Invitational
Competitors must meet requirements for participation in nonqualifying competitions and academic eligibility as outlined in the event announcement.
Events Offered:
- Short program (IJS) - juvenile, intermediate, novice
- Excel free skate (6.0) - aspire 3, pre-preliminary, preliminary, preliminary plus
- Excel free skate (IJS) - juvenile, novice, junior, senior
- Solo pattern dance (6.0) - preliminary, pre-bronze, pre-silver, silver, pre-gold, gold, international
- Solo free dance (6.0) - juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior, senior
