American Theatre on Ice Cleveland Spring Seminar

American Ice Theatre is a global leader in artistic and contemporary skating that is rooted in a philosophy of inclusion, acceptance, innovation and authenticity. AIT Cleveland is one of seven AIT satellite locations throughout the U.S.

AIT promotes contemporary skating as a method of collaboration between all who call the skating community home. We seek to break down barriers between groups of all ability levels so that everyone can invent, create, improvise, share, learn, and grow as skating artists. We strive to offer an artistic-focused learning environment that can work side-by-side with the competitive structure of figure skating (no matter your discipline), to create healthy, passionate, and well-rounded skaters for life. By bringing new ways of moving, interacting and performing to the ice, we aim to push the boundaries of artistic and contemporary figure skating by breaking the traditional structure of “rules,” and instead establishing unconventional and experimental movement philosophies and skating styles.

The AIT Cleveland Spring Seminar, in conjunction with the conclusion of the U.S. Figure Skating Adult National Championship in Cleveland, will take place on Sunday April 7, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the North Olmsted Recreation Center (located at 26000 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
