Host Cities for 2014, '15 Synchronized Skating Qualifying Events Announced

(12/14/12) - U.S. Figure Skating announced today the sites for the 2014 and 2015 synchronized skating qualifying competitions, including Colorado Springs, Colo., as the host of the 2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships and Providence, R.I., as the host of the 2015 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships.

In addition to being the primary selection event for the World Synchronized Skating Championships, the U.S. Synchronized Championships crowns the U.S. champions at the juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior, senior, collegiate, adult and masters levels. The 2014 event, hosted by the Broadmoor Skating Club, will take place Feb. 26-March 1, 2014, while the 2015 event, hosted by the Warwick Figure Skaters, will be held Feb. 25-28, 2015.

The 2014 Midwestern/Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships will be held Jan. 23-25, 2014, in Hoffman Estates, Ill., and the 2014 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships will be held in Hershey, Pa., Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2014.

The 2015 Midwestern/Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships will be held Jan. 29-31, 2015, in Edina, Minn.

The 2013 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships are set for Feb. 27-March 2, 2013, in Plymouth, Mich.
