Samuel Auxier Elected as President of U.S. Figure Skating

(5/3/14) - Samuel Auxier has been elected as the 31st president of U.S. Figure Skating on Saturday at the 2014 Governing Council in Seattle, Wash. Auxier earned the election with a vote of 762-to-209. He will begin his term in office after the meetings at the Governing Council end on Saturday. The Governing Council also passed a bylaw making the term of the presidency two years.

In the only other contested election, Doug Williams was elected as the Athlete Services Group Coordinator. He earned the election with a vote of 567-to-393.
