2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating Qualifying Season Begins This Week

(1/23/14) - The 2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating qualifying season begins Jan. 23-25, 2014, with the Midwestern, Pacific Coast and Eastern synchronized skating sectional championships. Teams will compete at thirteen levels (preliminary, pre-juvenile, juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior, senior, collegiate, adult, masters, open juvenile, open collegiate, open adult).

The top four finishers from juvenile through masters will qualify to compete at the 2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships Feb. 26-March 1, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Several members of the 2014 U.S. Synchronized Skating Team will compete at the sectional level including reigning U.S. junior synchronized champions, Team Braemar (Midwestern/Pacific Coast), and the Synchroettes (Eastern), who won the bronze at Leon Lurje Trophy last season.
